The Dynastic Orders
Is an ancient organisation rooted in Catholic-Christian history and tradition, which cares deeply about the future of our society.
The Royal House of Savoy is one of the oldest royal dynasties in Europe.
The Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy are supported by their Association and have historically dealt with charitable and solidarity work in Italy and abroad, thanks also to the many delegations that spread and promote their activities all over the world.
Irish Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy conducts social fundraising events for various charities in Ireland and supports charity projects and events abroad. It also recognises excellence in people and their achievements through knighthoods, dame ships or an annual award of chivalry.
The Orders have Italian and foreign delegations, and include the Supreme Order of the Most Holy Annunciation, the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus, the Civil Order of Savoy and the Order of Civil Merit of Savoy. They are governed by the Grand Master, assisted by the High Offices and the Council.
The High Offices include the Grand Chancellor, the Grand Prior and the Grand Treasurer. The current Grand Master, His Royal Highness Prince Vittorio Emanuele, Duke of Savoy and Prince of Naples, Head of the Royal House, is also assisted by a Council, by a Heraldic Commission, and by the Junta for the Dynastic Orders and those of Knighthood.
The Grand Magisterium of the Dynastic Orders and the Grand Chancellery is in Geneva.
